I may have been reading comics since 1986, but I’m still way behind on Moebius.
Thanks do Dark Horse, I have now enjoyed The World of Edena.
For me, Moebius will always be an artist first and writer second; but he managed to keep this fantasy on track plot-wise. As is often the case with European stories and artists, it was possible to see his art develop over the years (1983 to something like 2001), which he reflected that in the story. A very satisfying whole.
Not bad for something that started out as a Citroen advertisement.
Still wouldn’t make me buy one though.
